Course Details:

This 40-hour certification course is designed to advance the knowledge and technical abilities of restoration technicians managing emergency mitigation claims. Spanning 14 modules (2.5 hours each), the course provides a structured, start-to-finish approach for handling water losses, sewer backflows, and contamination cases such as mold. From source identification to sustainable drying practices, students gain the insight and consistency needed to deliver exceptional outcomes and customer satisfaction.

  • Understand and apply the science of psychrometry, including vapor pressure and GPP

  • Identify water loss categories and classes to determine appropriate mitigation strategies

  • Use the psychrometric chart to monitor, adjust, and validate drying progress

This course is delivered via live stream zoom, in person and is supported with online learning videos – assessment tools are offered throughout the program to prepare students for their examination.

Examination includes a practical exam and written portion with a passing grade of 75% required to award certification.
